True Fantasy Football Rankings 2017
Part II of the III part series extending from last year’s Articles From Ryan . Following up on the last post’s consistency insight, we dive into how players performed last year relative to their schedule to give us the true fantasy football rankings for 2017. As you scroll down the True Fantasy Football Rankings 2017 you will find a couple charts below breaking down Raw Strength of Schedule (SOS) rank, then ranking of weekly output over schedule ease/difficulty. The last two charts are sorted, first by traditional scoring over schedule, then by CV (Coefficient of Variation, or average over standard deviation) over schedule. The latter being the ultimate depiction of true fantasy performance this past season. I label it as the MVP rankings since it empirically tells us who put up the most points, most consistently, regardless of their SOS.
